A History of the Pioneer Days Festival

Florence is a true Wild West town, one that has survived generations of "boom and bust" discoveries. What is left is a vibrant art, agriculture, and ranching community that is proud to come together once a year to celebrate their past.

The festival was founded in 1928.

Posters

This year's poster was created by artist Rudl Mergelman. The theme was "Our Pioneer Stories".
